A Zija International Review – Business Scam Or Real Benefits?

Welcome to my review of Zija International.
I am glad you found my site because that means you are doing some research on this company to see if they are legit or not.
You came to the right place because this is a 3rd party review that sticks to the facts and uses credible sources.
What it boils down to is simple though; is the company going to make you money!
I mean, that is the major reason that people join a business besides making a difference.
The problem is the fact that all MLMs make the same promise of making a lot of money and that the product is revolutionary.
By the end of this review, you will be able to see the truth about these two factors and make an educated decision based on facts.
Without further ado, let’s get started…

A Zija International Overview
Zija International was founded by a man named Kenneth E. Brailsford and is run by the CEO, Ryan Palmer.
The company is a natural, wellness & beauty niche MLM that now operates around the globe.
The company has been around for nearly decade and is open about its leadership.
This is a positive start to reviewing a company because believe it or not, some companies keep all of this information under wraps because of bad reputations.
One last thing to point out is that Zija has received some rewards but it looks like they are mostly within the state of Utah which doesn’t necessarily much to most people.
However, it is worth mentioning…
Here is a link that provides a lot of information about Kenneth Brailsford.
This may fill any of the gaps I left out and also give you a quick reference if you want to do some more research on your own. http://ift.tt/2dAkPNW

Better Business Bureau (BBB)
***zijabbb***
As you can see from the image, Zija International, Inc, has an A+ grade with BBB and is an accredited business.
This means that it meets all of the criteria that the BBB has, including a “commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints.”
What also makes this important is that each company has to pay a fee to get accredited which is something that a lot of companies don’t do or can’t due for many reasons.
Here is the Zija International BBB page for your convenience.
Let’s take a look at all of the information that BBB provides.
Customer Complaints Summar: 15 complaints Last 3 years / 1 closed in last 12 months
• Advertising/Sales Issues – 1
• Billing/Collection Issues – 6
• Guarantee/Warranty Issues – 1
• Problems with Product/Services – 7
Customer Reviews Summary: 54 customer reviews
• Positive Reviews – 50
• Negative Reviews – 4
In the spirit of objectivity, here is an image of both a positive comment and negative comment to give you a taste of two different sides of the spectrum.

***zijabbb bad***
Before I close this section I would like to point out that the evaluation of BBB in regards to grading the companies has nothing to do with the product itself.
It is simply based on whether or not the company handles complaints in the appropriate manner.
This means that BBB does not in any way endorse the products that Zija International produces or sells.
This is an important detail that a lot of people do not notice.

Products & Services
Ok, so here is the deal, a company is nothing without a legit product that can be marketed on a global scale. This is not a problem for Zija because research confirms that roughly 68% of all adults in American consume some sort of daily multivitamin or supplement. The health and wellness niche market is a massive demographic and continued growth means there is a lot of money to be made…at least for multi-national companies. Let’ take a look at the product line.
CORA MORINGA SUPPLEMENTS
• Daily Supplement Drinks
• Capsules
• Teas

AMEO ESSENTIAL OILS
• Single Oils
• Oil Blends
• Other Products

RIPSTIX FITNESS SUPPLEMENTS
• Pre-Workout
• During Workout
• Post-Workout
• Anytime Products

GENM PERSONAL CARE
• Body Care
• Hair Care
• Skin Care
NHR STARTER KITS
NHR Basic System – $265
NHR Diamond System – $1756
NHR Enhanced System – $438
NHR Gold System – $878
Wow, these are getting expensive and this is the kind of thing you want to stay away from especially if you are a newbie.
Look, there are cheaper ways to make money online. Spending nearly $2000 on products as a “starter kits” seems a bit overboard.
This is something you will have to come to grips with if you want to join any health & wellness MLM, products are pricey.
Keep in mind that the FDA does not endorse the products just like the BBB does not: “Statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. Zija’s products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.”
This may worry some people but the FDA is not in the business of endorsing products, they approve their legitimacy though. More on that later!!!

Compensation Plan
Like most compensation plans, they are long and filled with tons of rhetoric that most people do not want to read.
In my reviews, I give a basic rundown of the plan so that you can focus on the nuts and bolts of the plan.
At the end of the section I will provide a link so that you can take a look at it for yourself.
WAYS TO MAKE MONEY WITH ZIJA
1. Retails Sales
2. Team Commissions
3. Leadership Check Match Pool
4. Diamond Leadership Pools
5. One-time Bonuses
6. Multiple Business Centers
7. Special Initiatives
8. Team Benz Car Bonus
Retails Sales
This is a simple concept; you purchase at wholesale price, you sell at retail price, you keep the profit.
***zija comp plan***
Team Commissions
You can earn 10% commission if you and your two personal recruits are active and meet all requirements. If some of your Commissionable Value(CV) is not counted in the current cycle, it will get carried over to the next pay cycle.
Leadership Check Match Pool
Zija International pools 6% of the CV to ranks Emerald and higher. This is a weekly payment if you meet requirements.
Diamond Leadership Pool
Zija International pays up to 4% of all CV to Diamond Execs. This only pertains to a very small fraction of members so don’t get used to seeing this payment anytime soon.
One-Time Bonus
Senior Diamond Executives – Black Diamond, Double Black Diamond & Triple Black Diamond receive $20,000 one-time bonus if you meet if they meet the following requirement: “In order to receive your One-Time Bonus, you must have been Active with Zija the last 12 Cycles and accomplish the Pay Rank every Cycle for two consecutive Periods.”
The Diamond Elites Plus ranks get between $50k -$500k with the same requirements.
Ok, so I think we have covered most of the basics to the Zija International Compensation Plan, take a look at the link so you can review it at your leisure. http://ift.tt/2e1TYxR

Things I Don’t Like About Zija International
I usually try and limit this section to the top 3 things that are less than satisfactory with the company I am reviewing.
1. The compensation plan is not newbie friendly at all. At least half of the ways to earn money are for top executives only. Look at all of the pools and one-time bonuses for example. This tells me that if you have been with the company for 5 years, you could earn those bonuses. It would take a master MLMer to achieve those levels and even then a small % of the members get it. This is frustrating for me as a reviewer but more importantly, someone trying to make a living via MLM.
2. Recruiting is the name of the game and this is a problem for many people. No, scratch that, a problem for 95% of MLMers that fail due to this one requirement. Now this is not the fault of Zija International completely, but a legit training program attached to this company would make it a lot less stressful to many members. I hardly ever recommend a MLM to people if recruiting is necessary to make a livable wage so this is a huge factor for me. I think it should be a huge factor for you, but I will get back to that later.
3. The next thing has nothing to do with the business side or money make side but the moral side of things. You see, all health, wellness & beauty niche companies rely on their “special concoctions” and claims not based in the realm of scientific reality.
Here is what the company is NOT telling you:
This link provides you with a forum about the health risks and bad reactions that are involved with Zija products. Zija Health Risks http://ift.tt/2dAjp6b
If you take a few minutes to read the comments section, you will notice talks of lead in the product and rashes, hives etc. Although I have never used the product, it seems to be hit or miss.
There is evidence that some people have severe reactions to the product and others see some sort of benefit.
Now take a look at this article, which states that the World Health Organization, “endorses” Moringa but keep in mind that the article is from another food supplement company.
What is doesn’t tell you is that the leaves and stems are beneficial whereas the bark and root are harmful to your health, at certain levels, especially pregnant women. http://ift.tt/2e1RFee
The last article I want you to take a look at is an abstract from a scientific experiment that did tests on medicinal herbs and found that the metal content in some parts of the best medicinal herbs are higher in some cases, especially the roots and bark/skin. Toxic Metal Exposure http://ift.tt/2dAhI93
Some cultures have used Moringa roots to conduct abortions and there are overdose levels for pregnant women so this is something that needs to be addressed by the company, immediately.
The reason I say so is because there has been accusations of lead in the product and that there is no way that Zija can ensure that no bark or roots have been used in making the product.
If anyone says the products are guaranteed to be safe, are lying to you in order to make a buck.

The Final Verdict
Ok, it is clear that the business is not a scam in regards to business.
It has been around for nearly a decade and is successful.
So why can’t I recommend this company to anyone else?
I feel that any company selling “snake oil” has some explaining to do.
If you need to read the previous section to see why I feel that Zija is being disingenuous, go ahead and do so.
There is no reason to lie or spin the truth to customers and I think any company willing to lie about something like this is a detriment to legitimate companies.
