The sd Quattro H is also the first Quattro camera to shoot DNG format RAW photos, allowing you to easily process the photos without waiting for popular photo software to stay up to date with Sigma’s proprietary RAW format.

Featuring Sigma’s SA mount, the dust- and splash-proof magnesium alloy sd Quattro H is compatible with all the Contemporary, Art, and Sport lenses in Sigma’s Global Vision lineup.

A Dual TRUE III image processing engine in the camera lets you shoot up to 8 14-bit RAW photos in a row at 4.4 frames per second.

On the back of the camera is a 2.36-megapixel electronic viewfinder with a 1.09 magnification ratio and near 100% coverage. There’s also dual monitors on the back: a 1.62-megapixel 3-inch LCD monitor and a sub monitor that shows important info (e.g. remaining shots, shutter speed, aperture, ISO).

Other specs and features of the camera include a new Super-Fine Detail (SFD) exposure more that snaps 7 exposures with one shutter press, a new mode that auto crops photos shot with Sigma DC lenses, a dual phase/contrast detection autofocus system, focus peaking, aspect ratio selection, and an electronic level.

Pricing and availability for the Sigma sd Quattro H have yet to be announced.
