First, you’ll agree that most horses are kept “locked up” in stables. Those places have little spaces for an energetic horse to run around in. However, they do get some turnout time once in a while. They get to feel free in a bigger space and even run wild. That’s cool! But there’s something you need to know about these break-neck runs. They can be dangerous, especially if the horse gathers up too much speed and can’t work the breaks well. That could hurt their legs. The trick is to first get the horse to calm down and get set before letting them out into the big space. You could do that by first limiting the enclosurein a smaller one.
