The cashier noticed something off about a customer, but didn’t expect what was about to happen. Seizures are symptoms of a brain problem. They happen because of sudden, abnormal electrical activity in the brain. Seizures often cause convulsions in which a person’s body shakes rapidly and uncontrollably. Sufferers are not able to control their actions, which can endanger themselves and the people around them. Rebecca Montano works at an Alta convenience store in Arvada, Colorado. She has been working in the said store for years, and almost knows everyone who buys from them. That was why she quickly noticed when a new face entered the store. Rebecca immediately noticed that something was off. Something was wrong with the woman’s actions. With this at hand, Rebecca observed the mother and child as the young woman was looking through items. The mom then headed towards the cashier, baby at hand, and handed over what she was about to buy. Rebecca noticed that the woman had a dazed look in her eyes. The more Rebecca took notice of the mother’s behavior, the more she became concerned—especially when the mother began tilting her head back and swaying from side to side. Without thinking twice, Rebecca quickly reached over the counter and took the baby away. That was when the mother began twitching and shaking uncontrollably. She was having a seizure. Fortunately, there was another male customer who helped Rebecca, while the latter held on to the baby. Thankfully, and thanks to this heroic cashier, both Mom and baby are okay. [video_player]
