Memories Of The “American Bandstand” And it’s “Strolling” Glamour. Awesome!

So it’s around 1957 and ’58, and this guy has just come up with something that’ll go down in history as one of the nicest musical and dance revolutions ever. It’s Chuck Willis, and he just produced a song, “C.C Rider.” This is the song that the dancers on American Bandstand will chose to perform their new dance routine called “The Stroll.” It’s going to make history! In fact, this “Strolling” craze caught on “fire” all across the country and saw many artistes come up with their own versions. These were inspired by the American Bandstand that saw various teen dance shows come up. In this clip, you get to witness one of such.
