In the video at the foot of this article, you can see Vodoo the majestic African leopard laying down relaxing before a hand enter the cage to Stoke the beautiful big cats head.

Now you might think that putting your arm into the cage of a Cat this size is a little stupid, and you’d be right! Lucky for the owner of that arm, he is actually a handler, he’s built a strong bond with Voodoo.

he senior keeper Steve Klein can be seen giving a nice morning massage and by the looks and SOUNDS of it, it’s clearly to Voodoo’s liking.

Voodoo is a rescue animal, an African spotted leopard that came to Cedar Cove at 5 months old.

Voodoo was purchased at three months of age by a private couple from a breeder with the intention of making him a house pet and playmate to two full grown rottweiler dogs. Sadly he was declawed on all paws, even with this underserved ailment he still managed to overpower his purchasers, he was deemed too aggressive to keep, at which point he was brought to William Pottorff at Cedar Cove.

Clearly, a beautiful creature like Voodoo should have ever been intended as a pet in the first place.
