I almost always reserve my cleaning for the weekends. Because I enjoy my lazy Sundays (because really, who doesn’t?), I wake up on Saturday mornings ready to conquer my chores. And as much as may dread it, you better believe it’s all done and over with before lunch! Okay, so I’ll be honest—cleaning the house isn’t really THAT bad. Yes, there are things that I don’t enjoy (like cleaning the toilet. But then who does?), or taking all those grocery bags scrunched up in a corner somewhere and neatly storing them away somewhere easy to access, and where they don’t look so messy. But the good thing is, some weeks you’re good to skip some chores. But boy do I wish that there were easier ways to clean some of the things around the house. Do you wish the same? I’m sure you do—and even if you don’t, trust me when I say that we can all use some of the interesting cleaning hacks that this video below has to offer. Like for example, it never occurred to me that instead of buying a new pair of white sneakers every time mine were completely soiled, that I should just wash them up with a mixture of baking soda, water, and hydrogen peroxide—try it, it’ll definitely do the trick! And save you the $ and closet space! Or how about taking a grapefruit and cleaning your sinks and faucets? Sounds bizarre right? But i essence, it’s a great way to clean your kitchen sinks. The citrus in grapefruits contains d-limonene, natural solvent that easily cuts through dirt and grease. Interesting right? And there’s plenty more when that came from!
