Pregnant Scooter Driver Runs Over a Toddler, Drives Off Without Looking Back

A pregnant motorcycle driver in China ran over a 3-year-old boy and went on as if nothing happened.

The incident occurred on July 23 in Jieyang, Guangdong Province.

As seen in a CCTV footage, the toddler suddenly dashed into a narrow alley where the pregnant driver was heading.

The boy was pinned to the ground from the impact, while the driver struggled to free the vehicle.

A woman presumed to be the boy’s mother then rushed to the scene to help him.

The driver, on the other hand, fled without even glancing back to help or at least realize the damage.

According to the Beijing Times, the pregnant driver was riding an unlicensed motorcycle. However, she turned herself in to authorities the following day, Shanghaiist said.

The boy reportedly sustained minor injuries from the accident.
