The iPhone X is now available to preorder — here's how to get one (AAPL)

iPhone X

Apple's hotly anticipated iPhone X is now available for pre-order.

To get one, you can either navigate Apple's website to this page (or here if you are in the UK) or use the Apple Store app on your iOS device.

In the US, the device starts at $999 for the 64GB model, or $1149 for the 128GB version. You can also buy it through Apple's dedicated upgrade programme, with 24 monthly installments at $49.91 or $51.16 respectively.

Carriers are also an option, with several two-year contract options with monthly fees on upgrade programmes or reduced upfront payments to integrate with charges every month.

In the UK, the iPhone upgrade programme asks for £47.95 or £55.15 a month for two years, while the full price iPhone X costs £999 or £1,149 for the 64 and 126GB models.

The device has been said to be in severely limited supply, which could be as low as 2-3 million units stretched across over 55 countries and territories.

This means that, while the first lucky pre-orders will receive their phone exactly a week from now (November 3), the queues may easily stretch to weeks (if not months) of wait.
