It's almost certain the OnePlus 5T will keep the 3.5mm headphone jack
OnePlus is on the charm offensive with its upcoming OnePlus 5T and social media accounts are heavily hinting toward lots of features and even the name of the new phone.
A new teaser on the OnePlus Twitter account seems to confirm there will be a 3.5mm headphone jack on the 5T.
You can see the tweet below that asks "what do our phones have in common?" followed by a musical note emoji and shows the edges of each older OnePlus device where the 3.5mm headphone jack sits.
Keeping the fans happy
This seems to be a dig at companies such as Apple, Google, HTC and others that have dropped the legacy tech from devices to make them thinner or waterproof.
Obviously this isn't confirmation from OnePlus that the 5T will come with the tech, but this kind of heavy handed hint toward the tech being present would surely upset some fans if the company then decided to drop the audio tech from its upcoming device.
The Twitter account also showed off five mugs of what we can only assume to be tea, suitably confirming the name of the OnePlus 5T that we've seen leak so many times over the last few weeks.
Previous rumors have suggested the OnePlus 5T will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, a 6-inch 18:9 ratio QHD display and a dual rear 16MP camera.
Twitter leaker EvLeaks has also said the OnePlus 5T will be ready to launch toward the end of November this year.
