Incredible Japanese Ad Uses 72 Actresses to Show the Life of One 72-Year-Old Woman

It may sound nuts to tell a life story in under two minutes, but leave the job to Glico — the Japanese company behind Pocky — which released a jaw-dropping ad showing the life of a 72-year-old woman.

What’s special about the ad is that it doesn’t just present all 72 years of the protagonist’s life, but it also features 72 different actresses to represent each year!

But why 72, of all ages? It’s because the average life expectancy in Japan is 71.8 years, according to SoraNews24.

For this reason, Glico ingeniously titled the video “71.8-Second Life,” with each of the 72 actresses getting a second of screen time from the 0:14 mark!

While the ad is visually stunning, it’s a tear-jerking watch that calls for the appreciation of time.

It shows how time really flies and that it’s best spent when one lives in the moment, surrounded by loved ones and unforgettable experiences.

And of course, Glico products.
