Plagued by iOS 12 bugs? A new update is here to fix them.

Apple issued a critical update to iOS 12 today that fixes several bugs plaguing iPhone XS and XS Max devices since their initial release.
The new version — iOS 12.0.1 — is available for download right now, and if you don't receive a push notification prompting you to download it, you can force your device to by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update.

The new version of iOS should fix several issues people have been reporting including that, at least in some instances, a device didn't start charging when it was connected to a Lightning cable. The update will also fix a small WiFi issue that forced some iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max devices to connect to a slower 2.4 GHz band when a faster 5 GHz connection was available. Read more...
