Wild Boar Freezes in Fear After Wandering on China’s Glass-Bottom Bridge

A wild boar in Qiangyuan, Guangdong province, China, froze in fear when it realized the bridge it had accidentally stumbled upon was made of glass.

The wild boar’s attempt to cross the bridge was captured on camera on Nov. 29, according to CGTN.

At first, the boar can be seen trying its best to cross the bridge, struggling due to the slippery surface. However, after almost a quarter of the way across, it suddenly freezes in apparent fear as it stares down at the glassy abyss.

Eventually, the security guards managed to nudge the animal back into the forest, Shanghaiist reported.
