The newest 'Detective Pikachu' trailer features even more cute and creepy Pokémon — here's every live action Pokémon shown in the trailers so far

• The second trailer for "Pokémon: Detective Pikachu" dropped on Tuesday.
• The movie stars Ryan Reynolds as the voice of the titular pocket monster, with Justice Smith co-starring as Pikachu's human partner.
• This new trailer gives us a new look at all the Pokémon coming to the movie, which releases in theaters on May 10th.

Warner Bros. Pictures recently released the second trailer for the upcoming "Pokémon Detective Pikachu" movie, giving us a closer look at how the creatures will be brought to life alongside live actors.

The film will star Ryan Reynolds as the voice of the titular character, with Justice Smith as his human partner. It's slated to drop on May 10th.

In both "Detective Pikachu" and the Pokémon games, Pokémon live alongside humans in place of animals, making them a common sight on city streets and in nature. The trailers for "Detective Pikachu" are chock full of hidden Pokémon and fun nods to the games that inspired the film.

 

But with more than 800 Pokémon to keep track of, recognizing all of them can be a chore. Luckily we've done the extra work to slow the trailer down and see just how many were brought to life in the trailer. Between two trailers and a 30-second TV ad, I counted no fewer than 30 live Pokémon. Even more can be seen on ads and billboards in the backgrounds.

Here are the Pokémon I spotted in both trailers, in the order they appear. 

These creatures crawling on the power lines at the start of the new trailer are actually a bug-type Pokémon called Joltik.

While Joltik is certainly big for a regular bug, it's actually one of the smallest Pokémon.

Ludicolo is a hilarious Pokémon that grows stronger when it hears happy music.
