3 Men Arrested For the Death of 59-Year-Old Korean-American Store Clerk in Houston
Authorities have arrested the three suspects behind the robbery and shooting of a store clerk in Houston last month.
The suspects, identified as 18-year-old Steven Hicks, 18-year-old Brent Williams, and 19-year-old Lakoreen Parker have all been charged with capital murder for the death of 59-year-old Se Young Lee, a clerk at the ExxonMobil gas station on 9200 Main at Murworth, ABC13 reported.
According to the police, the young men entered the gas station at around 1:05 a.m. all wearing masks, hoodies, and gloves. Lee was compliant with the robbers and raised his arms, but despite his cooperation, they still shot him multiple times before fleeing, Houston Chronicle reported.
The store clerk was taken to the hospital after the incident, but he succumbed to his injuries soon after. Authorities believe that the men are also linked to other robberies around the city.
