Seth Meyers wants you to remember just how weird things are.
Donald Trump has been distracting himself in the week leading up to Robert Mueller’s Senate testimony by ramping up the racist rhetoric in one breath and then trying to walk it back in the next.
In the clip above from Late Night, Meyers points out that what many people didn’t hear over the chants and denials was the revelation of another potential crime “that almost certainly would have landed [him] in a courtroom were he not the president” — and that there’s no way anyone believes Trump’s claim that he’ll only watch “a little bit” of Mueller's testimony on Wednesday.
