Top PS4 Slim Black Friday deal: under £210 is one of the best prices we've seen

Are you looking to pick up a games console in this year’s Black Friday sales? So far, console deals have been a little thin on the ground but The Game Collection is making up for that with its offer on the PlayStation 4 Slim. 

The 500GB model is down to just £209.95 which is the best deal we've seen on the console so far this Black Friday. This price is just for the console and a controller alone, so you’re not saddled with games you don’t really want which can sometimes be an issue with larger bundles. 

That means all the money you’ve saved on your console can go towards buying the games you actually want. Perhaps also in the Black Friday sales. 

To sweeten the deal, The Game Collection is also offering additional DualShock 4 controllers for £30 (rather than the usual £44.99)  to those who buy PS4 consoles. So if you have multiplayer dreams they can be fulfilled for less.

The PS4 Slim packs all the excellent features of the original PS4 into a far more sleek shell. Not only does it look better, it runs a little quieter and uses up less power than the original too. 

Although you might have heard that thoughts are moving forward to the PS5 and the next generation of consoles, this is still an excellent time to pick up a PS4 if you don’t have one—it boasts plenty of incredible games and there are still more to come over the next year. The Last of Us Part 2 is one of the most anticipated releases of 2020 and you’ll only be able to play it on PlayStation. 

While The Game Collection isn’t perhaps as well known as other retailers (and not one that TechRadar has regularly come across), plus the fact that this deal seems a bit too good to be true may give you pause.
