'Two bongs away': Stephen Colbert localises coronavirus distancing guidelines for U.S. states

The coronavirus has infected over 300,000 people and caused over 8,000 deaths in the U.S. thus far, with many more cases expected. Despite this, President Donald Trump still hasn't issued a national stay-at-home order, instead leaving such matters to the individual states to decide. 

Unfortunately not every state official is taking the coronavirus threat seriously, with Georgia governor Brian Kemp making the "stupid and crazy" decision to reopen all the beaches.

"That would be like a teenager deciding not to go to a house party, and then his dad saying, 'No, you will go to that party, you will drink too much Jägermeister, and you will try to jump over the bonfire to impress the seniors,'" Late Show host Stephen Colbert pointed out on Monday. "'And if there is no vomit on your shoes when you come back there will be hell to pay, young man.'" Read more...
