President Donald Trump teased a 2024 presidential run during a rally in Georgia on Saturday.

Trump was campaigning on behalf of GOP Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, who are competing in the Senate runoff election next month against Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock.

The president urged the crowd to vote and earn a victory for the Republicans, before turning to his own political prospects.

"And then we are going to win back the White House," he said, sowing doubt over the 2020 election, which was won by President-elect Joe Biden. "And we're going to take back the House in 2022," he said, referring to the House of Representatives where Democrats currently have the majority.

"And then in 2024, and hopefully I won't have to be a candidate, we're going to win back the White House again," Trump said.

Enough states have certified their election results to secure Biden's victory in the presidential race, however Trump has not conceded the election.

He and his allies have contested the results, mounting legal challenges in swing states and spreading unsubstantiated claims of widespread voter fraud that courts and public officials have so far found meritless.

"I don't want to wait until 2024," Trump said in reference to his pursuit of a second term. "I want to go back three weeks."

Trump has reportedly been telling allies that he is planning a run in 2024, though publicly the president has not accepted defeat in the 2020 election.

The Daily Beast also reported sources close to the president said he is planning a 2024 campaign event for the same day as Biden's inauguration.
