What's new on Netflix Australia for April 2021

As the number of shows and movies available to stream in Australia continues to grow at an impressive rate, it can be tough to keep up with all the new additions to each streaming service each month.

Netflix highlights for April 2021

Love and Monsters (14/04/2021)

One of last year's most enjoyable movies, Love and Monsters makes its streaming debut as a Netflix Original in Australia. Set in world infested by monsters, Joel (Dylan O'Brien) discovers the location of his girlfriend Aimee (Jessica Henwick) years after being separated and decides to set out on his own to find her. Endlessly charming and full of heart, Love and Monsters is a real gem of a movie that deserves to find its audience.

Thunder Force (09/04/2021)

In this goofy superhero comedy, Melissa McCarthy (The Heat) and Octavia Spencer (The Help) play an unlikely crime-fighting duo after one of them creates a formula that gives average people superpowers.

Stowaway (22/04/2021)

We love a space-set thriller here at TechRadar, and Stowaway looks like it could be a particularly good one. The crew of a three-person space expedition is thrown into chaos following the discovery of an unintended passenger. Lacking the required oxygen for four people to complete the trip, the crew faces a very tough decision.
