Method and data source

Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics' Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics program, we found the 30 jobs with the highest average annual salaries in Florida as of May 2021, the most recently available data.

One occupation in Florida for May 2021 — oral and maxillofacial surgeons — did not have a specific average annual wage estimate, but BLS did note that the job made at least $208,000 a year in Florida, making it part of the highest-paying jobs in the state.

Employment estimates and average annual wages noted for each occupation above come from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
