Black Friday deals are on now, and many great furniture retailers are holding big sales. It's an excellent time to save on sofas, chairs, beds, tables, and more from some of our favorite furniture brands, including Article, Hay, and Crate & Barrel, which is offering over 50% off select items. 

Furniture sales frequently happen during major holidays, and Black Friday and Cyber Monday are no exception. Some retailers are adding free shipping to make the deals even more attractive. We're still seeing some retailers with supply chain issues, so some furniture may not ship for several weeks or months.

Black Friday furniture deals 2022: What to expect

Many furniture brands and retailers started rolling out their Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals early this year. We've seen great discounts on some of our favorite newer brands, from Article to Hay to Sixpenny, and established retailers like Design Within Reach, West Elm, and Pottery Barn.

Remember that some retailers offer automatic discounts while others require a promo code. Ensure you've applied any necessary codes before clicking the purchase button. 

When is Black Friday 2022?

Though sales traditionally started at midnight the day after Thanksgiving, which is November 24 this year, many retailers began Black Friday sales early in November. Discounts typically run at least through Cyber Monday, November 28, but some last as long as early December. 

Is Black Friday the best time to buy furniture?

Black Friday tends to have significant discounts like other big holiday weekend sales, including Labor Day and Memorial Day. We're seeing some deals that meet or exceed those we saw over the summer.
