Brie Larson to build a 'Unicorn Store' before taking on 'Captain Marvel'
LOS ANGELES — Oscar-winning actress and future Captain Marvel Brie Larson is using her newfound clout to make her directorial debut with the quirky indie comedy Unicorn Store, Mashable has confirmed.
The Hollywood Reporter broke the news Monday that Larson will also star in and produce the film, which was written by Samantha McIntyre.
Rebel Wilson was previously attached to star back in 2012, when Miguel Arteta was onboard to direct.
Unicorn Store will find Larson playing Kit, a young woman who moves back in with her parents and is subsequently invited to a magical store that challenges her ideas of what it really means to grow up. Read more...
