Lady Gaga announces new single coming in September

It's another pop music emergency!

Lady Gaga will release her first single, "Perfect Illusion," off her forthcoming fifth solo LP in September, the singer shared with fans via Instagram Wednesday morning.

This news has been a long time in the making. Lady Gaga's last solo album was 2013's polarizing Artpop, which disappointed many.

After that, Gaga re-focused attention on her killer pipes, releasing the standards album Cheek to Cheek with Tony Bennett in 2014, as well as her recent Oscar-nominated tune, "Til It Happens To You." She also had memorable performances at the Oscars, Grammys and the 2016 Super Bowl. Read more...
