A totebag with Arabic writing has popped up in a Berlin metro and it promises to fight Islamophobic stereotypes with cleverness and style. 

The text reads: "This text has no other purpose than to terrify those who are afraid of the Arabic language" according to Berlin-based journalist Nader Al-Sarras, who first shared the picture:

The bag is produced by Rock Paper Scissors, a graphic design and print studio run by Sana Jammalieh, 29, and Haitham Charles Haddad, 27 in Haifa, Israel. They were recently in the German capital to showcase their creations. 

The duo told SBS that many of their products are in Arabic because, "It is our language and part of who we are and we think it should be part of our urban landscape". Read more...
