Uber is officially ready to start building its new San Francisco campus.

The ride-hailing startup was issued building permits on Tuesday for its new offices in San Francisco's Mission Bay neighborhood, according to SocketSite.

The spot is near the coming arena for the Golden State Warriors basketball team, in the location Salesforce was going to occupy before it decided to build a big skyscraper downtown instead.

The project entails two separate buildings: one 11-story structure and a second six-story building down the street, according to the San Francisco Business Times. The new campus will open in 2017 or 2018, the company tells SF Gate.

The new permit approval comes six days after Uber filed another $8 million building permit to renovate an old Sears building in the City of Oakland, which will eventually house Uber's new corporate headquarters.

Uber also has offices at three separate buildings on Market Street in San Francisco, as well as space at Stanford Research Park in Palo Alto.
