Like many Army veterans out there, Joe Serna suffers from PTSD. Readjusting to civilian life has not been easy for him after going through the horrors associated with war. Years back, he was charged with DUI, after it was found out he had lied about a conducted urine test. As a result of his actions, he was supposed to spend a night in jail. The sentence had been issued by Judge Lou Olivera. Though a night in jail does not sound like a big deal to many, Serna knew the longest night ever was waiting. The moment he was put in the cell, he started recalling the horrific events that took place while he was serving in Afghanistan. His anxiety started to rise as well.
