A year later following Smith’s disappearance, his wife,Jennifer Agnerecounts the events of the fateful night. Jennifer admits she was drunk and was not present when George went missing. The ship log records states that Jennifer was found unconscious at 4.30 am on the ship’s deck. Jenniferreceived a $1.1 million settlement from the ship company two years later. Jennifer remarried and they have two daughters. George’s immediate family still feel the loss of their loved one.
