Ottawa’s Bus Driver Helps Assaulted Woman, and the Internet has Gone Wild. WOW!

There are many thankless jobs and being acity bus driver is one of them. Few people appreciate the bus drivers but are quick to complain when the bus is late. One Canada bus driver has proved to the world that bus drivers are humans too. They deserve some praise and appreciation. Stoddard was driving along his route when spotted a half-naked and distressed woman. She was verbally and physically abused. Stoddard welcomed the woman into the bus and talked to her before the police arrived. One passenger took a photo of the woman and Stoddard on the bus and said the bus driver deserved recognition. However, the bus driver downplayed the attention he was receiving saying it was his duty to assist when he could. He said bus drivers should be professional and compassionate at all times.
