On Saturday, the BISSELL Pet Foundation held an "Empty the Shelters" event for Little Traverse Bay Humane Society in Harbor Springs, Michigan. All 2,500 of the shelter's animals were adopted, leaving behind just one little pup, Eastwood — until someone took action.
Eastwood is a 70-pound Labrador retriever who with a deformity in his leg. Workers at the shelter estimated that he may need a $4,000 surgery down the road, which appears to have scared some potential owners off. Read more...
