Startup and Tech Heavyweights to Meet in Paris to Celebrate Innovation

This summer, the world’s most innovative start-ups will come together in Paris to meet sector leaders at Vivatech, a global event designed to foster innovation, and break down the barriers between people and businesses who want to change the world, and the way we work together through tech.

Over 50,000 tech-savvy attendees—including CEOs, investors, and unicorns (a startup company valued at over $1 billion)—will attend the event at Porte de Versailles in Paris, from June 15 to 17 to explore global future trends of the tech industry.

Attendees will also be inspired by keynotes from industry heavyweights such as: John Chambers, CEO of Cisco; Gillian Tans, CEO of Booking.com; and Ryan Holmes, founder and CEO of Hootsuite.

Global game changers of the tech industry will be there in force, delivering over 150 keynotes across 35 industries exposed to technological disruption, examining tech’s role in the future of society and industry.

The three-day conference boasts a packed agenda that will see numerous collaborations between startups and investors to solve digital challenges, experience exclusive product launches, predictions around the future of business and society and a hackathon.

The stage will also be set for 150 innovative pitches from up and coming startups, as they compete to solve key challenges facing our world today. Whether it be to try and create the first energy neutral shopping mall or accelerating growth in Africa, there are challenges for all backgrounds, skills, and products. Investment, mentorships, and awards will be on the line.

Innovation has always been at the heart of Hootsuite, which is why Vivatech is a must-attend event for our team.

“Vivatech is a place where a mix of talent and knowledge can come together and explore the future,” says Yann Dirheimer, senior marketing manager for southern Europe at Hootsuite. “You never quite know what great tech advances will come out of an event that brings such volume of talent together under one roof, and that is greatly exciting to us”.

Ryan Holmes, Hootsuite founder and CEO, will take to the Vivatech stage to discuss innovation in an ever-changing digital landscape. His keynote comes off the back of the recently announced the Hootsuite $5 million app development fund. He’ll discuss how the focus at Hootsuite—now more than ever—is on innovation.

Hootsuite’s investment in an Integration Fund will fuel even more innovative solutions, and further the company’s commitment to building best-of-breed integrations that gives customers the flexibility to use solutions that best fit their needs. The fund is designed to encourage talented developers to build even more innovative, enterprise-strength integrations and business applications on our platform.

The Hootsuite team will be attending Vivatech and sharing all the learnings and key highlights on Twitter, via @Hootsuite and @HootsuiteFR. If you’re going to be attending the event, let us know by sending us a tweet. We hope to see you there.
