Daniel Dae Kim breaks silence over 'Hawaii Five-0' exit: 'The path to equality is rarely easy'
Hawaii Five-0 will be missing two of its main characters next season.
Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park have left the show after failing to reach a new agreement with CBS Studios on their contract renewals, according to a Variety report.
Sources told Variety that Park and Kim had been "seeking pay equality" with stars Alex O'Loughlin and Scott Caan, but were unable to reach a satisfactory deal with the studio that produces the show.
CBS' offer to the two actors was reportedly "10 to 15%" lower than the salaries of their white co-stars, according to Variety. Read more...
