The Amazon Prime Day Xbox One bundle is the ultimate console starter kit

There's no better way to begin playing Xbox One than with a console bundle, and today's Amazon Prime Day exclusive bundle gives us a really good deal.

No, it's not the Xbox One X that was just announced at E3 2017, however, it's the next best thing and at an incredibly affordable price. In fact, it's better than the price of a standalone Xbox One S without the bundle..

It costs just $239.99 today only on Amazon, which is cheaper than the same system at $300 that doesn't come with free games, two controllers and other extras you don't want to pass up.

The deal, of course, is an Amazon Prime Day promotion and therefore requires a Prime subscription. It also expires at the end of the day Pacific time in the US.

Prime Day Xbox One bundle specs

To understand how good this deal is today, you just have to look inside the Xbox One Amazon Prime Day bundle.

It includes the Xbox One S 500GB console, two Xbox One wireless white controllers and a play and charge kit to recharge your gamepads. There's also the typical 4K-capable HDMI cable, power cord, and the 14-day Xbox Live Gold Trial.

Also inside, but technically in a digital sense, are three Xbox One games that come with the system: Forza Motorsport 6, Halo 5 and Recore, all great games for the Microsoft console.

On its own, it's a great bundle. But considering it's $128.93 cheaper than what you would have paid when this Xbox One bundle first launched makes it one of the Amazon Prime Day deals you shouldn't pass up.

It's Amazon Prime Day 2017, the online shopping giant's annual mega sale. Stick with TechRadar for how to grab all the best deals.
