Netflix announces 'The Crown' Season 2 release with irresistibly dramatic teaser
You can't keep a true queen down — and there's no queen truer than Elizabeth II (Claire Foy) on Netflix's The Crown. Following her first 10 years on the throne, Elizabeth must evaluate who she can trust for the rest of her rule.
Season 2 begins with an illegal war in Egypt and includes various political scandals and revolutions from the 1960s. Season 1 of the Netflix original is nominated for 13 Emmy awards, including outstanding lead actress and supporting actor, writing, directing, and overall drama series.
