Ser Davos has formed quite the partnership with the King of the North, Jon Snow, but it wasn't that long ago that the smuggler-turned-knight served as Stannis Baratheon's Hand.

While his stint with the Baratheons ended bitterly, Davos' time with them wasn't spent in vain. He learned how to read from Princess Shireen, became more knowledgeable on the art of war, and — perhaps most importantly — mastered the use of "less" and "fewer."  Read more...
