Tesla shows off its solar power capabilities with a 'tiny house' touring Australia
Tesla is now taking its solar-powered ambitions on the road in Australia, showing off its energy products in the form of a fully-functional miniature house on wheels in a series of tour stops around the country.
The Tesla Tiny House is outfitted with a system of six solar panels and one of the company's Powerwall batteries for energy storage, making it 100 percent powered by renewable energy sources, according to Tesla. The structure houses a mobile design studio and configurator, so visitors can check out how the house's solar systems could work in their own homes on the spot with some guidance from Tesla employees.
