Is absolutely nothing is sacred anymore?
For years, mac and cheese has been the same — macaroni and melty, gooey, unhealthy cheese. Sure, things have been added to it, like delicious bacon or succulent lobster, and, yes, even cheeses have been changed.
But replacing the cheese in macaroni and cheese with warm avocado of all things to make it "healthier"? A true crime.
Twitter account @TheFitFood posted a video of a 2015 PopSugar recipe for low calorie avocado mac and cheese, in which the cheese part is replaced with avocado plus the tiniest bit of GOAT cheese and topped with toasted almond flour instead of breadcrumbs. Read more...
