Patton Oswalt had choice words for an idiot who tweeted that depression 'isn't real'

Every Twitter troll needs someone to shut them down. Luckily, one guy who posted a long thread claiming that "depression isn't real" had J.K. Rowling, Patton Oswalt, and a host of other celebrities to debunk him.

Oswalt, who has publicly discussed his struggles with depression, responded to a thread from Andrew Tate, a kickboxer and Big Brother contestant who describes himself in his Twitter profile as "toxically masculine," that promoted harmful misinformation about mental illness.

Depression isn't real. You feel sad, you move on. You will always be depressed if your life is depressing. Change it. Thread.
