George Takei Told Howard Stern How He Gets Men to Have Sex With Him
Following George Takei’s emphatic denial of the sexual assault claims made against him by former model Scott R. Brunton, a disturbing interview where he admitted to non-consensual sexual advances to a man in his house has resurfaced on social media.
Apparently, the 80-year-old actor narrated that he had indeed sexually assaulted a man inside his home during a recent conversation with Howard Stern on live radio.
In his program “The Howard Stern Show”, the radio host asked Takei: “Did you ever grab anyone by the c*ck against their will?”
To this, he responded with a momentary silence, prompting Stern to press the well-respected actor and activist.
“Uh oh. You’ve never sexually harassed anyone, have you?”
With a laugh, Takei responded with: “Some people are kind of… umm… skittish. Oh maybe… um… afraid and you’re trying to persuade.”
“Do we need to call the police?!?” Stern joked but pressed on. “What are you saying, George? You’ve never held a job over someone if they didn’t touch your c*ck.”
“No, I never did that,” Takei said, shifting back to Weinstein’s case, he noted, “It’s not about sex, it’s about power.”
Stern’s co-host Robin Quivers then asked, “But you didn’t do this grabbing at work?”
“No, it wasn’t at work,” he explained. “It was either in my home- he came to my home.”
“So what do you mean?” Stern asked. “You mean some guy who was hesitating to have sex with you and then you gave him a gentle squeeze on the balls or something?”
“More than a gentle…” Takei laughed then justified this with: “But it didn’t involve power over the other.”
While the interview didn’t get more attention as it should when it aired, it has resurfaced now following Takei’s denial.
Takei’s constant giggling throughout the discussion of sexual assault is all the more distressing. His admission that he would grab men by the genitals to “persuade” them in having sex with him is what one would say “antithetical to his values and practices”.
Brunton had claimed that he was a 23-year-old waiter and an aspiring actor when he went for a drink at the actor’s condo.
In his interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Brunton did not make any reference to what Takei spoke of during the radio interview. At the very least, there was no suggestion that the incident Brunton has alleged is the same as what Takei narrated to Stern.
“This happened a long time ago, but I have never forgotten it,” Brunton was quoted as saying. “It is one of those stories you tell with a group of people when people are recounting bizarre instances in their lives, this always comes up. I have been telling it for years, but I am suddenly very nervous telling it.”
In response, Takei wrote on Twitter that he is “shocked and bewildered” at the accusation, stating that the incident “simply did not occur.”
