A postcard signed by someone claiming to be one of Britain's most brutal and infamous serial killers, Jack the Ripper, has gone under the hammer.

According to the seller, Grand Auctions, the card was received by Ealing Police Station on Oct. 29, 1888. It measures 2.75 by 4.75 inches and is written in ink by someone claiming to be "Jack the Ripper," the person responsible for the mutilation and murder of at least five women in the Whitechapel district of London's East End.
