It wasn't flamethrowers, candy, or even a tunnel.
No, today Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced a different kind of product: Pink slips. In a leaked email to staff, the self-stylized media critic told those at his electric car company that he would be letting some of them go. Like, nine percent of them.
The letter, published in full by CNBC before Musk just decided to go ahead and tweet the thing, says that the layoffs will be focused on salaried positions and that the production teams would not be effected (the entire email is embedded at the bottom of this post). Read more...
