Jet Li Posts Rare Instagram Pic With His Daughters for Christmas

Film star Jet Li is known to keep his children out of the spotlight; however, this Christmas, Li graced Instagram with a photo of himself and his two daughters at his side.

Jane (left) and Jada Li are now 18 and 15 years old, respectively, and now tower over their 5’6″ father — granted, with the benefit of platform shoes.

Jet Li, who will star in Disney’s upcoming live action remake of “Mulan,” has for the most part kept things lowkey in regards to familial life, only sharing images of his daughters on occasion to celebrate their accomplishments, which include charity work and academic achievement.

He attributes his signing onto “Mulan” as a decision made due to pressure from Jane and Jada, with Jada, the 15-year old, having asked him why he wouldn’t be involved with a major company like Disney producing a film about Chinese culture.

Many users took to leaving complimentary comments on Li’s Christmas picture:

Earlier this year, pictures of Li gave many the impression that the actor was unwell; the actor, who suffers from hyperthyroidism, appeared practically bald and aged. On Facebook, however, he assured fans that he was “doing great and feeling great!” Still, many left comments praying for his wellness.
