As a parent, knowing that you are going to say bye to your child is such a difficult experience. Be it there first day at preschool or when you are going to drop them off at the college dorm. Giving that final hug to your child is a hard thing irrespective of how much your child is. The experience can get worse when the child is leaving for military service. The place where the child will be stationed or what he or she will be doing does not matter a lot. What you are sure of is that contacting or keeping track of him or her will be a hard thing to do. Seeing your kid from time to time is the only comforting thing any parent can have. The clip below was taken at the Falls Park Bridge in South Carolina and it features the Johns family.
