A cop is in his car when he spots a guy running through traffic. The stranger is headed towards the ledge at the overpass. Sergeant Greg Bogert springs into action. The cop gets out of the car to approach the guy, but the man is so determined to get to the edge that he starts running. He’s crying and seems very bitter at something or someone. One look and a little intelligence tells the cop that this guy is actually bent on taking his own life. He wants to commit suicide! The cop runs after the man screaming at him not to do it. Luckily, the cop is faster. He gets to him and pins him down. Turns out, the man had marital problems and that’s why he wanted to kill himself. The video was captured by the police car dash cam.
