Kind Hearted UPS Driver Adopts A Friendly Pit Bull When The Owner Passes Away

Pets and their owners have that special bond which cannot be easily replaced. With that in mind, it is to understand why it is a very heartbreaking experience when the beloved pet is left behind after the owner dies.

Whenever the owner dies, the uncertainty of the person who is going to adopt the dog always arises. Though the late family member dearly loved the animal, it is not obvious that his family will willingly adopt the pet.

When the owner of Leo the pit bull passed away, Katie Newhouser, a UPS driver within California was forced to intervene. Since 2016, they had become good friends and they could share a moment of friendship whenever Katie made deliveries within the area.

So when Tina, the pit bull’s owner passed away, Katie volunteered to adopt the dog and her wish was granted. Though Leo joined Katie’s family under unfortunate circumstances, the dog is so happy as it can be seen in the clip below.
