Surprise! Mindy Kaling Is Pregnant!

A round of congrats is in order to Mindy Kaling, as she’s recently announced that she’s expecting!

Kaling, famous for her work as Kelly Kapoor on “The Office” and her show on Hulu called “The Mindy Project”, is pregnant with her first child according to E!. The news comes as a surprise, as she’s been very transparent about her family planning (or rather, the lack thereof).

“I think I’ve decided that unlike everything else in my life, I’m going to be fast and loose about kids,” she originally told Yahoo! Style in a 2015 interview. “I’m going to not actively plan, but if it happens, it would happen.”

Not much else is known about her pregnancy or her little one, but the good news is that nothing will interfere with her current schedule as the sixth and final season of “The Mindy Project” airs later this year.
