It is an irrefutable fact that solar eclipses are amazing.

And you don't have to do that much digging for proofGizmodo's Matt Novak shared this tweet today, which led me to searching for the above video. It's a 10-minute clip collection from ABC News' coverage of the last large-scale total solar eclipse to be seen in the lower 48 U.S. states. The event occurred in February of 1979, and the path of totality swept across five states.

LOOK AT THAT VIDEO! HOW AMAZING IS IT?
