Amazon Echo Plus has a smart home hub built inside it

Amazon is supercharging its smart speaker with the Amazon Echo Plus, a new Echo that also acts as a smart home hub.

The new speaker will have hundreds of partners available for it, including Philips Hue with its smart light bulbs. 

The Echo Plus looks much like the original speaker, and it's certainly bigger than the new Echo 2 that Amazon also announced at a surprise event in Seattle today.
