Reddit starts banning Nazi pages
Reddit is booting Nazis.
The site updated its rules regarding violent content and messaging on Wednesday and proceeded to ban the groups where such content most often proliferated, including the likes of r/pol and r/Nazi.
According to an administrative post on Reddit, the company felt the "policy regarding 'inciting' violence was too vague."
"Going forward, we will take action against any content that encourages, glorifies, incites, or calls for violence or physical harm against an individual or a group of people; likewise, we will also take action against content that glorifies or encourages the abuse of animals," wrote site administrator landoflobsters.
