Billionaire Jack Ma Fights Donnie Yen, Jet Li and Others in Epic Short Film ‘GSD’

“Gong Shou Dao (GSD)”, the star-studded action extravaganza starring Alibaba Group’s charismatic founder and CEO Jack Ma as a Taiji Master, has been released and you can watch it in full here.

International action star Jet Li served as the executive producer of the short film which features an assembly of the biggest names in the Asian martial arts scene including superstars Donnie Yen, Wu Jing, Tony Jaa, Jacky Heung, Asashoryu Akinori, Zou Shiming, Natasha Liu, Yuen Woo Ping, Sammo Hung, Tony Ching, and Jet Li himself performing a variety of martial art forms.

“We all have the same dream with the aim to promote China’s excellent traditional culture and a tribute to the predecessors in the field of Taiji, Kung Fu and Martial Arts. The timing seems to be perfect and everyone involved in this project were so enthusiastic in making it happen,” Li was quoted as saying when the film was announced in October.

With a runtime of a little over 22 minutes, the exhilarating action romp was released on Chinese online video platform Youkou during Alibaba’s 11.11 Global Shopping Festival.

Jet Li would later post the film in its entirety on his Facebook page with permission from Youkou. He also placed an announcement on his website, saying: “GSD is finally here. The wait is over and here is the FULL VERSION of the film.”
